All federal government employees whose agency participates in the Combined Federal Campaign can direct their charitable contributions to help the less fortunate in Jefferson County by designating Jefferson County Community Ministries # 62436 and/or Meals on Wheels of Jefferson County # 66558.

This is great news and taps into a valuable resource for Jefferson County.  Many citizens of this County leave it's boundaries, for employment with the Federal Government, due to the close proximity to Washington, DC; Frederick, MD; and parts of the metropolitan area.  Rather than pledge donations to a national agency of which one is not sure where or how a donation may be used, one can designate Jefferson County Community Ministries # 62436 and/or Meals on Wheels of Jefferson County # 66558 to receive these donations.

If your employer participates in the United Way Campaign please designate Jefferson County Community Ministries and/or Meals on Wheels of Jefferson County to receive your donation.
