We are excited to welcome all people who would like to become a member of our church. Joining Asbury involves professing faith in Christ and pledging to support His church with your prayers, presence, gifts and service.
There are three ways to join the church:
- By baptism (called Profession of Faith)
- Reaffirmation of your baptism
- Transferring your membership from another church
We feel that the decision to become a member of a church community is an important step in one's faith walk. To assist you in this commitment we ask that everyone attend our New Member Orientation. During this orientation you will gain a better understanding of who the United Methodists are, the meaning of church membership and information about Asbury, our history and the various activities and classes we offer. You are welcome to attend just to learn more about us or to join our church.
Interested in joining? Then all you need to do is mark your interest one the yellow attendance slips during on of the Sunday morning services or contact the church office. Email
