Asbury United Methodist Church's ministries are here to encourage and develop you, friends and family members. Preschoolers, children, students and adults meet to talk, discuss, study and worship. Each age group can enjoy a variety of activities and events throughout the year.

Regardless of where you are in your spiritual journey, there are always growth opportunities that God has in store just for you. Our hope is that our Church can be part of that journey God has set out for you.

GROUPS AND FELLOWSHIP

FELLOWSHIP ROOM
The Fellowship Room is where people gather for an informal time of meeting and saying hello. Refreshments, pastries and sometimes even breakfast are offered. Meeting times are before each service.

NURSERY
For ages up to 2 years of age, the Nursery offers a secure, safe and loving place for babies and toddlers to stay while care takers are participating in Church.

PRESCHOOL
For ages 3 to 5, this classroom welcomes children for play and learning. Care takers can be at ease their little ones are being taken care of.

YOUTH
For ages 6 and above, there are various youth oriented groups to meet the needs of our younger generations. Feel free to ask any Usher or Member for help and guidance to find any of the rooms used to meet.

ADULTS
For all generations, the adult classes meet at 8:30AM and 9:45AM. Each group is led by a member and topics vary depending on what each group has chosen to discuss.

UNITED METHODIST MEN
The United Methodist Men meet on a monthly basis to share The Word and encourage each other. In addition to being a way to have fellowship, its serves as a way to strengthen each other's walk in Christ. The UMM also schedule a variety of recreational activities simply as a way to refresh and have fun.

UNITED METHODIST WOMEN
The United Methodist Women learn about God and Jesus while supporting and having fun with each other. Meeting on a monthly basis, the women of Asbury United Methodist Church's UMW exist to develop and strengthen God-honoring women through knowledge of His Word and through deeper relationships with one another.


OUTREACH MINISTRIES

FOOD PANTRY
Your donation is always welcome. Whether Summer or Winter, each season has its challenges with with food donations due to lack of food drives or other competing events. Your help in meeting this demand for food is always welcomed.

MUSIC
Whether you can sing or not, there is a place for you in our Music Ministry. There is the Praise Choir and the Handbell Choir that can serve anyone's need to make beautiful music.

SCHOOL SUPPLIES
Jefferson County is always looking for school supplies to supplement their current stock. The need is always great for our children. Please call the Church office for guidance on how to contribute in this area of need.

FOREIGN MISSIONAIRIES
Did you know Asbury United Methodist Church supports missionaries around the world? Both at home and abroad, Asbury United Methodist Church lends a helping hand to missionaries called to serve abroad. Support in the form of prayer, fellowship and finances are always very welcome.
